letter from a student

This is a letter (unsolicited by me) given to me by a student in the 4th or 5th grade after one day I spent in her classroom. The middle of the letter is an indication that it may have been one of my more challenging days, but I still managed to leave a positive impression on this student!

Classroom teacher evaluation

This is a substitute evaluation I designed and distributed around 2008 to find out how my work was seen from classroom teachers’ perspectives.

My Praxis (Pennsylvania) certification test scores

These are my scores for all of my PA state assessments for teaching certification. I am confident that I can transfer this same performance to any and all tests necessary for me to obtain certification in New York. The top of this sheet has been omitted due to the fact that it contained my SS# and I didn't want to publish that on a blog. My candidate ID number for the Praxis Series tests is 03383741 and the phone numbers for ETS/Praxis are (800) 772-9476 and (609) 771-7395.

A play I wrote for 500 students

This is the outside of the program for the play I wrote and co-produced, as described in the letter of reference from Colleen Hovanec, the former assistant principal of Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary school. I created this play from a narrative in a collection of interviews from the nineteenth century.

First page of play

This is the first page of the play, along with the character list.

Additional coursework

This is an unofficial transcript of additional graduate credits (recent) beyond my Masters degree from Millersville University in PA. Please note that in addition to my English as a Second Language Certification, I opted to take courses in special education which I know are very relevant to all children's educations.

Letter from Math Professor

This is an additional letter of reference from a former math professor.
